Gross Receipts Tax (8/10/2007) More municipalities and airport commissions are imposing local taxes to fund airport security and airport improvements. Many of these are flat taxes based on operator receipts, rather than sales taxes on certain categories of goods and services. MyFBO.com now supports gross receipts taxes specifically, rather than as a type of sales tax. Each location can have state sales tax and two local sales taxes by type of sale, plus gross receipts tax and Federal excise taxes for charters and fuel sales.
