AVEMCO JOINS WITH MYFBO.COM
FREDERICK, MD (June , 2005) . . . Avemco Insurance Company, the country's only direct writer of general aviation insurance, is pleased to announce it has joined with MyFBO.com to help FBOs and Flight Schools. FBO subscribers who utilize MyFBO.com's unique scheduling system can now exercise their Avemco Partner program privileges as part of the service. In late 2003 Avemco launched its popular results-based partner program offering a referral bonus to FBOs and Flight Schools that refer their customers to Avemco for insurance quotations and related information. The program was launched to better communicate the reality of financial exposure to aircraft renters. Avemco's research indicates that there may be as many as 300,000 pilots flying aircraft with no renter's insurance. To help solve this problem, hundreds of FBOs and Flight Schools have signed on to become Avemco Partners.
